A walkaround with our County Councillor Isi Rocha

Today Ben Ellison, one of our directors, resident Stuart Pugh had the pleasure of hosting our new County Councillor Isi Rocha at the Bourne Brook View development.

As part of the walk around we discussed the issues with:

1. recycling not being collected
2. The potential development at the ground adjacement to the Millenium Green
3. The dog waste discarded in bags amongst the trees and grounds along with the lack of provision of at least one dog waste bin
4. The flooding from De Vere road across the pathways and roads at the bottom of Bourne Brook View that causes a significant hazard, especially during the winter
5. The space behind the odd number houses that backs onto De Vere road flats, and any opportunity to turn this into a social space, playground, gardens etc with Section 106 funding

I was delighted with the support that Isi gave to our concerns, and her intentions to take action to support us.
